LCD Back light not working
Hi guys,
Just received my Prusa Mini last night and was very excited to get home and assemble it. Assembly went okay but upon turning the printer on, there was no back light on the LCD display. I can see the screen is displaying an image by using a flash light but can't see any reason why the back light wouldn't be working. Other than that everything works perfectly, first print was great!
Anyone else experienced this? I have sent an email to [email protected] but I thought I'd make this post in the meantime.
Cheers,
Jimmy

Using the support chat (on the eshop page) will get you a quicker response than email.
I don't have my mini yet, so the only thing I can suggest is to make sure all the cables are seated properly in the connectors.
Good luck!

Yeah, make sure all connectors are seated properly, no pins are broken in sockets and that there's no break in cable when you tried to shove it into extrusion during assembly. If cable is fine, backlight may just be dead. Either way, open a chat session with support, they can send you new display.

@crawlerin
Thanks for your reply, as you and Gordon suggested I used the support chat and they replied pretty quickly. I'm now waiting on an email with some shipping details so I can send the display back and another one can be sent to me.
