How to make x axis square to y axis?
Hi there,
Does anyone know the method to accurately get the X and Y axes exactly square to each other? I printed an engineering square, assuming the accuracy but it isn't, at all!
I did a search of the forum but couldn't find anything - if anyone could point me to a previous discussion, I'd be very grateful.
Thank you

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!
You can only solve this to some extent by underlaying the column of the Z axis with thin metal foils and aligning it accordingly until X/Y are at right angles to each other. To check the squareness, I used a large solid steel square and dial gauge:
For the dial gauge you need an adapter (print it yourself) to attach it to the heating block.

Thank you Karl, I'll investigate that solution.
