As far as I can tell they are the same. The only difference I can tell between the E3D and the Prusa variant is the heater block height, and chamfer on the back for the cooling fan.

I recently changed out all of the Prusa hotends for E3D (heatsink, heatbreak) and kept the Prusa block and therm/heater. These have become my best performing machines after months of tearing my hair out. 

If you're already tearing it apart, I'd ditch the Prusa heatsink and convert to an all E3D hotend. This, along with porting over the MK3S extruder/FRS, has had the most impact in terms of reliability and quality. The "SuperPINDA" was the 2nd most significant.

Hi,

The thermister & heater for the Mini+ are out of stock. Does anyone know if the ones direct from E3d-online are the same? They are only listed for MK3, not Mini. Would also be cheaper as I'm UK based and saves expensive courier fees. I want to have spares as each time I change a nozzle I thik its going to get damaged!

I have already equipped the Mini with the E3D V6 hotend a long time ago. Runs flawlessly without changes to the firmware. No problems with not available Mini spare parts anymore. There are enough sources for the E3D V6.

(one version with additional front fan)
