First layer calibration and z-height

Hey, recently I ran into trouble when recalibrating the first layer.
Somehow the nozzle doesn’t change its height when changing the z-height during the calibration procedure.
I think it has something to do with the multiple sheets calibration feature that was added in a recent firmware update. Before that I never had troubles recalibrating.

Are there more people out here having the same problem?

Sofar, I have done a factory reset without any result. It only works during the initial calibration. Setting up multiple sheets or even changing the original setting doesn’t seem to work.

RE: First layer calibration and z-height

my issue seems similar. not sure if it's the same. i have to lower the z height after a few prints or changing materials. continually lowering the z won't work forever so i'm not sure what to do. it may be that my z is not actually changing like yours. it seems to have some effect though as after i change the z it will print with good adhesion. however that could also be because my printer and enclosure are warmed up by then as i print in ABS.

I checked the z-height setting by eye and did not see any effect, even when I put it from 0mm to -2mm. Downgrading to firmware version 4.2.1 fixed the problem for me. Since then I have been printing ASA without any issues.

I am not sure where to report this firmware issue.
