First layer calibration and z-height
Hey, recently I ran into trouble when recalibrating the first layer.
Somehow the nozzle doesn’t change its height when changing the z-height during the calibration procedure.
I think it has something to do with the multiple sheets calibration feature that was added in a recent firmware update. Before that I never had troubles recalibrating.
Are there more people out here having the same problem?
Sofar, I have done a factory reset without any result. It only works during the initial calibration. Setting up multiple sheets or even changing the original setting doesn’t seem to work.

Would you mind elaborating on "nozzle doesn't change height"? Are you saying you are in the calibration wizard or printing a calibration square/strip and manually changing Live Z, it's not responding to that? Or something else? I certainly can't see any issues with live z calibration, so I'm not sure I truly understand what you're seeing?

RE: First layer calibration and z-height
Sure, initially I noticed it during the calibration wizard. But also the live height change doesn't respond. So the answer is both I guess.
Although the height does not change during the calibration, the value is saved at the end is actually used. During the next print, this led to the nozzle colliding with the heatbed.
I verified this using g-code: M503 to show the settings. Shifting it using M851 also works. Therefore I thought it had to be something firmware related and I was hoping the factory reset would fix this
RE: First layer calibration and z-height
Short update, firmware version 4.2.1 fixes the problem and 4.3.3 didn't
RE: First layer calibration and z-height
The latest firmware version is 4.3.4. .

RE: First layer calibration and z-height
I started from 4.3.4 had the same issue as 4.3.3. Hence the rollback to 4.2.1.
RE: First layer calibration and z-height
when I updated to 4.3.4, it didn't work for me on the first calibration, after turning off and on again, it started working.
