Filament Sensor small PTFE tube came out.. how to return it? (Prusa MINI+)
In the morning when unloading a filament (that had a small 'clog' in its end) , the small PTFE tube on the filament sensor came out. (2cm PTFE tube)
- How to insert it back to the sensor? (I guess it serves as a filament guide)
- If pressing the small tube in the orifice is enough, how deep to insert it?
Thanks in advance.
RE:
At my sensor,
can the tube 4.6 mm to be pushed in.
Do not do this using pliers,
but with a piece of sand paper
that you wrap around the tube in such
a way to have more grip on the tube.

Just press it in gently. I have removed it from most of mine. It has not changed its performance for me.

I've had the tubes come out so many times, I have about altogether just forgotten about the filament sensor. It's been more trouble than it's worth for me. (Same with the satin sheet I bought. I've used it twice and the trouble hasn't been worth it. The Satin sheets are 1/2 the thickness of the steel sheet so everything has to be set up for that sheet as well, and I see no major differences to keep swapping them out for no reason. Others may have a different experience, but that's been mine)
