Filament coming out of nozzle long time after printing

Hi, I could not find this after multiple searches on Google:

I have been using the mini+ for two weeks, and three days ago it started to let filament come out of the nozzle for several seconds after printing.

The line that this creates is about 5 cm long. It did not do this in the beginning. It started while I was still using the sample filament delivered with the printer, but it continued with all-new prusament pla (galaxy black).

The issue is that when printing finer structures, much more filament comes out of the nozzle than it should. So there are no fine structures, only blobs and mess.

I have not modified any settings, the smallest structures I print are 1mm in diameter, the nozzle is 0.4 mm and the printer was pre-assembled. I cant find anything about this on google and youtube, just a few other people who also have this but they dont have any ideas as to why this happens.

Can you help or do you have any idea?

Thank you!

Temperature and flow rate

You could try printing a temperature tower and adjusting your flow rate.

thank you, I will gladly try - however I did not "dare" to as this is original and new prusament and I used default prusament settings in prusa slicer - so this might mean that those defaults are not necessarily the best ones for everyone?

Depend on filament, but maybe you should lower the hotend temperature by 5-10°C. On my Mini ooze is about 1-2cm long after print is finished (Prusament PLA BlackJet).
If lowering temperature doesn't solve the problem, maybe you should show a closeup photo of print example - that way it's easier to guess what the actual issue is.

-defaults are just defaults: settings at which print is guaranteed to be done. But keep in mind that PLA (for example) is printable at temperatures from ~200°C to ~220°C and so your temperature depends on other print factors (speed, layer height, nozzle size, what filament brand you use, etc.).

RE: Issue persists

Thank you all!

I set nozzle temp tp 202 degrees Celsius and the extrusion multiplier to 0.9 and I changed from black to white prusament (the sample that was included with the printer).

In these images you can see the issues - I am new to 3d printing but this seems plainly inacceptable :/

Do you have an idea which settings I need to change additionally? Thank you in advance!

The smallest structures in this test-file are 1mm in length/width - however that does not seem to be too small. But the printer "drags" filament around that seems to be in excess. Like there comes out "too much" of it.
