Bowden tube popped out of fitting

Hi!

Have anyone else encountered something like this? Or have any thoughts?

This may or may not be my own fault, thats hard to judge but I feel like this should not happen even if I print a little bit to close to the surface. The first layer calibration was quite good, but maybe a little close. But when the bowden got loose the PEI sheet got scratched up good.

I had no grinding in the extruder. I think I have tightened the tension half a turn due to some grinding of PETG the day before. This was on prusa galaxy black PLA.

Yeah it can happen if extruder is strong enough to push Bowden out of fittings, people experience this with stronger dual drive Bondtech extruder. You may be a tad low on first layer, but it should not pop Bownden out.

I belive there are 2 spare of those olives in bag of spare parts with your MINI. From what I understand you just put it onto Bowden tube and if you screw fittings together, it will compress it.

Alternatively, as suggested, use PC4 fitting with M8 thread, or print this extruder-rear part modified with more common M10 thread and change it. Surgery is pretty simple, here's the guide on how to disassemble and re-assemble extruder: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-access-and-clean-the-extruder-pulley-mini_126457

Has happened to me several times. Even a renewal of the crimp connection did not change anything. For this reason I used PC4-M8 fittings. Since then everything runs without problems:

I didn't realise that I had extra thingies in the spares bag, thanks a bunch!

If this does not work properly I will probably try the PC4 fittings.

It also happened to me with a Bondtech extruder...I am going to change to PC4-M8 and only one piece of PFTE from Heat-break to Extruder...

Another possibility: PC4_M8_E3D_V6_capricorn
