Struggle with infills

I have tried stl.,obj. and 3mf. Some do not work at all but the better attempts end up the same way. It fills the cut out and the top making it a solid disc. I think the only viable option would be a 0% fill even though it will look different and probably be alot weaker. I appreciate all advise.

Sliced

Ringarn is quite correct.  Your 3mf is made up of 2 parts.  Both placed on top of each other.  One of them has 120 open edges and in effect is missing the 'inside' of your bowl shape.  As such when sliced that is always filled in.  If you split them out in the slicer you can quite clearly see the open edges (the purple lines) and the dark green of the interior normals of the second object. Dark green areas on models are not a good sign.  Even without the yellow warning triangle next to the model in the right hand tree list (which should always be the first indication of a model issue).

I don't use Fusion 360 but you need to fix your workflow to stop these sorts of things otherwise you will get more of these types of issues.  If you can figure out what step caused this problem you can avoid it going forward.

Just a note for future reference, while the 3mf you attached allowed us to see the issue with it in this case, if your problem had been down to settings in the slicer instead of the model itself then it wouldn't have been enough.  3mf files can contain different information depending on what is used to create them.  A 3mf file saved from Prusa Slicer (using file Save Project As) rather than from your modelling software will contain not only the model files but also a copy of ALL your slicer settings, including modifiers etc.  Its the single easiest way to debug issues which is why we ask for them.

Usually means there's something wrong with your model when the sliced version is that kind of wonky.

This has nothing to do with your infill settings. Without seeing the 3mf project file it's all speculation though

There are 2 parts, just drag the one with a triangle in front out of the way and click "the eye" right next to it, or delete it

Feel free to post here or DM me your Fusion f3d file. I'd be happy to have a look to see what caused the issue.

When you choose "Share Link" you need to select "Allow item to be downloaded", as for now we can look at it in browser...

RE: Struggle with infills

Export the model as a f3d file, zip compress it and use the Attach file button below the edit window here to upload it. You have to compress it or the forum software won't accept it.

RE: Struggle with infills

In Fusion,  hide the surface Body1 before you save the base component as mesh. Or remove the surface body before exporting. Or just right click on Body2 and save as mesh. As diagnosed before, Body 1 is what's causing the errors in the STL. I for one would probably have modeled one of the indents onto the base geometry and then used a circular pattern instead of going through the surface workspace. But there are many ways to skin a cat in Fusion.
