Prusa Slicer 2.9 - not respecting object order in object list
Hey all,
Just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if there is a bug in the slicer. I am trying to do a multi color print & have two objects that I want to use to prime/purge the nozzle before the color change. These should be printed first before the rest of the objects on the printbed. Unfortunately, even though I have them at the top of the object list, they seem to get printed in some random order. The order will change depending on where I place them on the bed. Have looked for a solution in the knowledgebase, but it just says to drag the object to the top of the list ...
Thanks

+1
Hi all,
Same problem for me. I already tried :
- Uninstall PrusaSlicer 2.9.1
- Run Ccleaner
- Install PrusaSlicer 2.9.1
This did NOT work for the linked project : The_problematic_3mf
It does work for "simple" project (i.e a cube and cylinder).
It seem it does systematically not work for the linked project.
Any potential fix/correction/work-around ?
Thanks,
Xavier

Yes, it’s buggy. Sometimes it works by fiddling around… try moving other items to the bottom instead of your desired items to the top. Sometimes PS totally crashes when I do that and I have to start over, so save often! I hope they fix it soon! It matters for my projects that use a freeze frame camera.
