Prusa Slicer 2.9 extremly slow Windows 11
Dear All,
Just installed PrusaSlicer 2.9.0 and its seems that the Version has some serious performance problems compared to the previous Version in Windows11
Has anybody experienced the same problems?

Same here ...
Using Flatpak under current Linux Mint. Everything is extremely slow

You could get acquainted with the PrusaSlicer github build instructions for your system and build it yourself from source. I did that recently on my debian system, after the flatpak version 2.9.0 just showed a blank space where the plater should be. Mint is somewhat debian-adjacent so building from source could work the same there. The self-compiled version is not slow in any way and the speed is just the same as with the 2.8xx app-image version I used before that.
Building PrusaSlicer on Windows should also work with the instructions on github. I did that some versions ago on Windows 10, but did not keep current with it as I don't need it there.

PrusaSlicer builds without any problem on Linux Mint - many thanks for your suggestion!
Everything now works smoothly as expected.

... did some further testing ... seems that "WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1" does the trick.
Now scrolling through the layers of the sliced model is also fast.
