Problem to reconnect with OctoPrint after disconnect via knob

Lately I did a lot of PETG prints with my MINI+:
https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/my-longest-mini-3dprint-525x8-cm/#post-611832
When heatbed was already cooled down, I had big problems to get the 0.5mm high parts off, even with scraper.

I found solution, used knob to disconnect and then preheated with knob for PETG (heatbed 85°C).
When 85°C was reached, removing parts from heatbed with scraper was easy.

Now to my problem, I tried "Connect" in OctoPrint, but that did never work.
I found a workaround, used "Restart OctoPrint" option of OctoPrint, and then I could continue printing.

Question:
Since restarting OctoPrint takes more than 2 minutes, is there a shorter procedure to reconnect OctoPrint after disconnect with knob?

@hermannsw

Did you ever figure out a better way for the reconnect? If I ever disconnect from the knob I have to restart Octoprint and sometimes the printer itself to get Octoprint to reconnect successfully.

MINI+ with FW:4.3.3, Bondtech IFS Extruder, drilled out PC4-M8 couplers, 1 piece Capricorn bowden.
