We are trying to make sure we can take all the minis connecting after the update. It should come in the next version as far as I know. I suspect everybody has their hands full with the MK4 and XL release tho.

Yes it’s certainly a big launch, but like I said you have the Mk4 already on there with a new board.  I just hope that as you say it will be in the next version and Mini users don’t get forgotten about as they get used for farms aswell as the other machines 👍

Mini runs on the same codebase as the xl or mk4, it just has less flash to work with. Don't worry. Connect support is coming

The Mini has had PrusaLink working since 4.4.0 (Nov 2022), so PrusaConnect shouldn't be too far away.
Did you add an ESP-01 to your Mini+?

What will the capabilities be for the Mini with Prusa Connect? Will we be able to use for example USB-webcam that are connected to the usb-A connection? Or will they have to have some kind of raspberry pi as a mediator?

The buddy platform can not send images. The only way to connect a camera is externally. For now, camera support through a browser app is the only way to do that. We should add more. There is an experimental community project to add esp cam support and it seemed functional

As far as I know it was the end of the last year. No, no ETAs, never. You do not ask devs for ETAs. We work in a different space time. We cannot predict in human timeframes 😅

Hi. I have simple project on the github with ESP32-CAM board. Where ESP32-CAM board sending photos to Prusa connect backend, and then is possible see photos from ESP32-cam board in the Prusa Connect WEB page. Project is stored here.

In the project I use same interface for sending photo from smartphone to Prusa Connect WEB page (what is official option how to sending photo from external browser to Prusa Connect WEB page).

Okay, I've been corrected. Connect stability is not the main sticking point. The MINI FW itself needs more work to function with connect properly. Sorry about the incorrect info.

Any chance we can build support into the raspberry pi version to support the mini? I already have raspberry pi's connected with cameras and I'm guessing the extra compute power wouldn't hurt....

That has not been greenlit, so as far as I know, no. The RPi version of prusalink won't get MINI support. Sorry
