RE: prusa connect history

Hi, it does not seem like that's the case. By the like count, i feel like I should treat this as a request 😀

that is a good call  i personally want to delete printer history from connect

files can be deleted from usb so why not the history

slowly moving from octoprint  but the lack of the delete option and phone camera is stopping a total move to prusaconnect

I'd also like the ability to turn off the history feature. I have no need or want for my print history to be stored on Prusa's servers, especially since this feature tracks local print jobs as well.

For reference, even Google allows you to turn off search and youtube history.

Agree.
Being able to turn off history, as well as removing items from history is a matter of confidentiality.
There should also be an option to simply disable storing and sending data from local jobs/Prusa Link to cloud.
When removing data, we also need to be absolutely assured that data are - in fact - permanently removed.

For some organizations, privacy is a concern.
Like, A REAL concern.

I have a small number of units that are used by such organizations.

Obviously, they don't have Internet connectivity.
But the concern is that history might be stored locally and later leaked onto Internet.
So, when the day comes and the printers are done, the electronics (the x-buddy board) will be pulled out and sent to destruction.
It's waste, but there really isn't any other option as things are now.
