Using filament that's +-0.05mm

Has anyone tried this specific filament on their Mini or any filament that's +-0.05mm? I generally avoid anything greater than 0.03 but I can't find anything in this color with a better tolerance. Mostly I'm curious to know how forgiving the Mini is when it comes to filament dimensional variation.

I use esun pla+ which is +-0.05 - with great results.

I would recommend using the Purge function before Unloading function - as this was the only time I encountered problems with blockages.

I also use a slightly higher temperature (+10)

I got a Roll of prusament as an excuse from them, other than that I've never used prusament. Usually I use 2. quality filament for 12€/kg PETG. I never had any problems with cheap, inconsistent filament.

Worked on my MK3 MMU2 flawless and does the same on my mini.

Cheers

I use (semi-)cheapo PETG for prototyping mechanical parts that claims an accuracy of +/- 0.05. Works flawlessly for me, not a single filament jam yet.

Sure, Prusament with tighter tolerances is a little more comfortable to use and gives a slightly better look on the printed parts. But it's absolutely not necessary for correct functioning of the printer.

If you do get frequent jams, first thing to check is extruder idler tension. My dad's Mini was preassembled with an idler that was way too tight, he got jams multiple times, using the exact same filament I was using on mine too.
