Well, I did buy a used (perfect condition) MK3S locally only a couple weeks after my Mini arrived.  I saw it on the Prusa3D discord and thought about it for about 2 minutes before messaging that I wanted it!  Both printers are printing now (as they usually are).  I can see where a 3rd printer would be handy for me.  😬

Just wanted to leave my first post in the thread that kept my sanity 🙂

I received my mini kit 13 hours ago (18/05/21). Ordered on 26/01/21, produced on 11/05/21 (according to receipt in package) and shipped on 15/05/21.

It's my first 3D printer and I must say am quite impressed with the rate I'm going from zero to hero. 8 hours from opening the package until finishing the prusa logo print.

There was just one hour of troubleshooting a failing x-axis self-test, but I'll probably write more about that experience after getting some hours of sleep, working and assembling the ikea that is due tomorrow. 

I'm so happy I could finish my first build in one evening

The Mini was my first also.  I'd never even seen one before it arrived.  First prints were perfect (and many many many more since then).

No - I went for the partially assembled version. It's my first 3D printer so I figured I'd better make life as straighforward as possible!

(The only bummer is it looks like my Y-axis frame has been damaged/bent in transit. It doesn't sit flat; even with the foam pads applied. I paused the assembly at that step, while I wait for support to come back to me.)

Sorted! Support replied quickly, and after loosening a couple of bolts, and re-tightening while adding some pressure to the extrusions, I'm all set!
