Print shifted in one direction after certain layer

Interesting thing happened today.
Printed one set of hinges, all ok,
then printed another and.... after certain layer everything was shifted to one direction (towards left, so it is in X axis) and anything above it was also shifted. What's interesting, some web API calls to Prusa Mini were ok (prometheus metrics), but the other were as if the printer stopped working (as a result my print video was ended before final print finish.)

Looked at the graph and I can see there is a noticeable hole in the data (and I bet this caused processing to trigger that the printer is not printing and thus render video from the captured images).

Printer is connected over the cable to the switch.... (hm... I might have moved that in that time....)
Anyone seen something like that?

ok, looks like the error occurred around 22:05 (+- 60s), and there is nothing on the graphs 🙁

What has happened to that print sheet?

You have a warp which probably lifted enough to cause a crash - what do your crash stats say?

This can be enough for the printer to lose its place and layer shift.

The print was firmly placed on the print bed so first layer did not separate from the bed (so this is not a first layer issue).
Nothing happened to the print sheet, it stayed in the same place as it were. So no, this is not a shift caused by a warp and print head getting stuck in the model - in such case it would be down/up and not left/right.

I know there may happen movements in Y axis when bed moves but in here it is a shift in the perpendicular axis. I know because I had print head blocked on the model once and it moved the bed back then (also it usually also rotates).

The gcode uses G90 - absolute coordinates, so I suspect something like a cosmic ray hitting part of the printer causing it to make a bit flip (probably something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_voting_in_Belgium#Reported_problems).

After printer restart I printed  the model again and there were no issues whatsoever.

I've never had a layer shift as pronounced as this, but i've had smaller ones. In my case I believe it was caused by over-extrusion, and the extruder crashing into the over-extruded model. I fixed the issue by reducing the extrusion multiplier in Prusaslicer.

RE:

happened to me after i disabled z hop. printhead collided around the same layer over and over again.

it was a huge shift, over half build plate. normal shifts are more or less smaller.
not happening always which made it tricky.
