Get out orders Chaos at Prusa

Guys,

I came here because I am really really upset about order handling, logistics or whatever department is called at Prusa.

Somebody please explain me why Prusa (meamwhile grown from startup to decent company size) still is absolutely unable to handle shipping and order fulfillment of their customers? Who is responsible for this soap opera?

The shipping time at exact time of order placing - was green highlighted with "in stock - ready to ship 1-2 business days" when I pulled the trigger on a mini kit.

I really don't care about black Friday, as I have ordered on 21stNov !

My order hasn't been shipped yet, shipping time at order info is just prolonged more, day after day, and it is pushed further away from what was stated when I ordered. Beginning of next week bla bla bla

This is just the same weird things that were going on years ago. 

Nothing seems to have developed or changed. Zero!

It's the second printer after MK3 my family has ordered and it will be the last one. 

Oh and by the way: Jo, if your company pays for the customer chat support function you can cancel those payments and safe yourself money. Because nobody ever answers your customers tickets. Was waiting+30 mins, of course as 1st in queue ... nobody ever answered.

That’s totally the opposite experience  I had with Prusa. They answered always within Minutes, we’re very helpful and friendly. I would always recommend Prusa.

I am not surprised if delivery is still as chaotic as it used to be but I also can not confirm those experiences with customer support. They usually respond swiftly.

nobody cares, it even got worse today as they pushed away shipping date again. 

no response to emails to answers to chat.

this is ridiculous. 

if a responsible person reads this: check my order number 1669054720.

This is a Birthday present. Again to me this whole black friday is not important as I placed my order one week prior.

They apologize for the inconveniences. Due to lack of parts they're unable to process orders. New shipping estimate with beginning of next week.

Everyone seems to be in the same boat with almost everything at the moment from new cars to anything computing. It really is challenging at the moment and probably won’t get any better until late next year. That also partly depends on China and any changes to their covid policies. They have a huge dilemma on their hands. If they stop their lockdowns predictions are a huge number of deaths, mainly because they have not as a country built up a good level of immunity yet. If they keep their very strict lockdown policy then their economy struggles and we all face long waits for parts. It is not a decision I would want to make. 

I hope you get your machine soon. It really is a great bit of kit.

I just placed an order for a Ford F-250 truck. The dealer told me that they hope to deliver it in 2023. But it may slip into 2024… can't source parts from China. So yes, we're all in the same boat.

I'd imagine they got slammed with black friday sales and having either a shortage out outside parts, or backlog of the 3d printed parts they have to work though. If you get it in a few weeks consider yourself lucky. I waited about 6months for mine that I ordered just at the start of the pandemic.

I can only speak for my orders and i had only delays for the mini+ kit (which turned from about 4 months into another month after that) ordered beginning last year.

This year i orderd myself a mk3s+ kit with some extras on nov 25, est to arrive next week.

Prusa Mini+ kit. BondTech extruder. FW 5.1.2
Prusa MK3S+ kit. Stock. FW 3.11.0
Prusa MK3S+, used. Stock. FW 3.13.3

It's astonishing that some people like the OP of this thread still didn't realise that we live in times of scarcity. Paired with that ignorance is always a total lack of patience.

As of today - the order is still NOT SHIPPED, or handed over to delivery service. 

Dear MixMasterMike, OP here. I am ignoring your wise words posted above, because otherwise I would have to explain you the difference between misleading website/customer information paired with total lack of service fulfilment not only but also at time of order placement AND an economy crisis.

Finally I got a notification that the parcels containing my order were handed over to the courier earlier today.

Would like to thank all those that were involved to make it happen.
