RE:

I can only  talk for the SpacePi X4, as I only have that one.
But this blows the warm air out. It even has a special fan setting for it.
It has desiccant reservoir, but I dont use it. It is very small.
Temperature does most. There is an auto setting on it, where you can program time and temperature and you can choose different settings per 2 rolls (sides).
There is also an auto drying setting where you can program the humidity trigger and the time drying after that.

Yesterday I tried to print Glow in the Dark from Sunlu, but it was too thick for the bowden tube. I dried it first and just hanged it on the spool holder of the Printer. Worked also fine.

As mentioned in the videos that cwbullet posted, do any of the mentioned driers do an air exchange when drying or use a desiccant?  If the water evacuated from the filament remains in the chamber, it will get reabsorbed by the filament.  As one comment in the videos points out, the inside of the chamber had condensation on it.

One reason I like the food dehydrator, it exchanges the air for dryer air.  All moisture is evacuated.  I am going to look to see if I can increase the temperature from 75 to 85.  I am willing to keep my mind open for a better drier.

Most of them do.  Others have desicant added to them to preferentially absorb it,

I don't know exactly what strategy the SpacePi X4 uses, but it circulates the warm air through desiccant and periodically vents to the outside world. You can hear when the valves open. The end result is it pulls the humidity way down and I've never seen condensation. No doubt a search would reveal more about exactly what it's doing.

This is exactly the problem with the Polymaker Dry Box setup. The dryer the goes underneath simply recirculates the air and doesn't vent it. I love the dry boxes themselves and store all of my hygroscopic filaments in them. I don't print from my SpacePi X4 because there is no room for it next to my printers. I generally just transfer to the dry box and print from it.

The Space pi x4 heats and recirculates the air internally and there is also a fan on the back for each chamber..  I dont know when the vent fan kicks in (I think once the unit is hot and humid).

One thing I wish the Pi x4 did was rotate the spool. Usually halfway through a drying cycle I manually rotate the spools 180° (depending on the material)

Yes, most filament driers don't rotate the spools and having the open the lid to do it manually is tiresome, apart that when yo do that, the temperature inside goes down and moisture enters in. I believe that the Bambu Lab AMS HT rotates automatically the spool when it's in drying mode, but the AM2 Pro does not,

That's correct. The AMS HT will rotate the spool if it doesn't sense filament in the feeder. Only problem with the HT is it's not airtight. I generally only use this function for drying while printing.
