RE: A bit confused about the nozzles.. CHT vs. HF

Indeed in https://help.prusa3d.com/article/prusa-nozzle-types-for-nextruder-printers_928993 you can see that it says it's 3 vs 4 splits internally as said above

Prusa Nozzle CHT® nozzles split the filament into 3 thinner strands, while E3D Prusa Nozzle: High Flow has a unique internal geometry that splits the filament into 4 channels.

I have though bought a 0.8mm high flow from E3D and I can only get 15mm3/s which seems abysmall for both high flow or normal flow. Has anyone tested what flow they can get from the CHT or the high flow from a nextruder? Mine was on an XL

You *should* get higher flow but only if all 3 (or 4) channels are clear.  Often one or more channels can get clogged (since each channel is a fraction of the nozzle diameter) and you end up with a partially clogged nozzle with a flow rate that’s worse than standard and very difficult to unclog.  That’s the flaw almost no one ever mentions, and why I rarely use HF (or CHT) nozzles.
