Switching on the heatbed permanently due to low ambient temperature

Hi,
I have the MK4s and am running it outside in the closed shed. In the shed it has around 3°C. This is too cold for the printer, so it says, that it is to cold for him via an error message and it does not print. Is there the possibility to permanently switch on the heatbed, so that the temperature does not drop under the critical temperature for the printer to function? I also have the enclosure. So a permanently switched on heatbed even while not printing solves the problem (when I placed it from my flat into the cold shed, I started printing immediately and thanks to the heatbed the termperature was always high enough. Only when I do not print and the heatbed turns off, then after a time it gets to cold for it).I could not find the corresponding setting for it to stay permanently on without turning off due to inactivity after 30 minutes.
Please help😊

Hi Silas,
turning the heatbed on permanently, is probably not a good idea. it means interfering with the Prusa safety settings
since you have an enclosure, have you considered putting an incandescent light bulb inside the enclosure
this may well provide enough heat to raise the temperature inside the enclosure above 15C

Hi Joan, thanks for your answer,

I am buying now a few of these: https://www.tropic-shop.de/tropic-shop-ultraflache-heizmatte-waermematte-fuers-terrarium.html?cPath=18
These are heating mats for terrariums. A few of these should solve the problem.
Best regards.

Cheers Silas, I had forgotten about those,
I had thought about terrarium infra red heaters but they are probably not appropriate

I have a bit of the same problem: my printer is in an unheated attic, where the temperature can drop just below the minimum temperature required.

But why are you going to buy all this stuff to keep it permanently heated? I have an electric heatgun lying next to it. When I want to print, I blow a bit of warm air to get the temp sensor(s) above 10 degrees.
