Purge Tower - floating final layer
I am having an issue when I am slicing multi-color prints for my MK4S with a MMU3.
On the purge/wipe tower, PrusaSlicer seems to be adding an extra layer at the very end of the print but it is floating above the tower as the last color change was multiple layers before the print is done.
This file is from Printables here: https://www.printables.com/model/1153844-flexi-crocodile/files
I have tried both the STL and 3MF and get the same result.
RE: Purge Tower - floating final layer
when the printer unloads at the end of the print, it goes through a ramming process to form the end of the filament ready for the next re load, This filament is the result of that ramming process.
it is design intent

RE: Purge Tower - floating final layer
Thank you, I was concerned it would try to print in the air and either waste filament or get entangled with the print.
RE: Purge Tower - floating final layer
it will print in the air, however it's unlikely to cause a problem, this final purge is necessary, not waste.
