MK4S tension in back of y axis causes failed homes

i recently reseated the y belt after the tensioner came off, and after attempting a print, it infinitely jams the y axis, maybe due to some tension in the back or due to the moving belt? i'm not sure what happened here.

^ i should add i reseated the belt due to the tensioner being too loose and causing huge layershifts

update: after i updated the firmware to the new RC build this happened and now the issue seems to have gone away on its own.
