If everyone acted “Not buying” according to stock, failed promises and all of the above ....... perhaps PRUSA would not exist today with the number of competent companies that have appeared in the market.

Those of us who are here and write in the forums, I think most of us, are firm fans of PRUSA and their machines.

Update 06/10 -   No shipping yet.

FFS.  This is a minor upgrade, and a low cost at that.  Why are you so upset by the delay?  Why do you feel like you need to come here and REPEAT your complaint, day after day after day? It's not like your MK4 stopped working and needs the MK4S upgrade to be useful.  And we aren't talking about an entire printer and large sum of money -- just a few parts to do a minor upgrade.  (I understand you're also complaining that Prusa does the same pre-payment and delay game for entire, expensive printers - but this thread is ostensibly about the MK4-to-MK4S upgrade, which is a very different situation, both in terms of function and cost, than a new printer.)

FYI, I received my upgrade kit Friday (in USA).  It was ordered on release day ("old LCD" version, and the order included an accelerometer and gpio board).

I performed the upgrade Saturday (yesterday).  All went smoothly.  But trust me when I say MK4-to-MK4S is a "minor upgrade".   Perhaps a very slight speed increase (high-flow nozzle), and some overhang improvements.  I think you will likely survive just fine until yours arrives.  🙂

Still waiting and no news or info from Prusa support... Ordered on 13/08 🙂
The least they could do is offer an option to get a new XLCD display for those of us who trusted Prusa and ordered the MK4 on day one.

Of course,  is a minor Upgrade.....

Yes, I agree, it is a minor upgrade.  Even in that video, the closing comments infer there isn't a huge difference on most parts.  And many videos from other reputable testers have shown less difference between MK4 and MK4S than this video does.  I bought my printer to make usable parts, not print torture tests all day.

Some of your frame grabs are misleading.  For example, the still image of the spring focuses on a different area of the two prints.  The video shows other views, and YES the MK4S is better -- but both are unacceptable, so both would need supports to have a usable part.  And I don't know what's going on with the MK4 print in still image #4 -- my MK4 never had a bridging problem like shown on the bottom of that part.

My opinion remains unchanged:  I consider this is a minor upgrade and find your near-daily complaints to be both melodramatic and tiresome.

Goyetus, sorry, but, which is your point.

Your are complaining with no further action, so which one is the idea, just complaining or what else?

Maybe you think that Prusa feels happy with complaining and the impossibility of resolving production & delivery issues.

The things are simple, just cancel your order go and buy your gear with another provider.

Your complain is quite clear and fair, but that's all,

Allways the same song it is just annoying.

Good luck with your gear, hope your issue will resolved in a near future..

Best regards

dormammu i've come to bargain.

21 days away from the oficial timeline and no answers from Prusa.

Will get the new 4020 fan in 2024?

Maybe yes, maybe not.

In both cases, its SAD after more than 2 months my money left the bank.

Hope Prusa can buy a lot of fans with my money for the 2025 batch.
