Rattly printer
Hello,
I built my printer last week and while it has been quieter than other printers I've used in the past, it is quite a bit louder than what I was expecting.
On some prints, there are moves which produce annoying sounds. Here's an example of how it sounds: https://photos.app.goo.gl/CVf2nrZGDm8Fr36P8
When the printer is working on the outermost ring, it makes a rattly/scratchy sound.
Prusa support has told me that it is probably the Y axis bearings.
Before I fully disassemble the bed carriage, I'd like to have some opinions on this. Has anyone gotten similar sounds on their printers?
If I do end up having to completely redo the Y axis, I'll probably need to take the bearings out of the rods to look at their orientations. Do I need to lube them afterwards? Unlike the MK4 kits, the MK4S kits come with pre-lubed bearings so does anyone have a link to the lubing adapter that is included in the Mk4 kits?
