Problems with corners on low layer height

I am trying to print some miniatures at .05mm layer height. Some of the corners I am printing are significantly deformed and are ruining the print. I am pusing polymaker polylite pla that I have dried.

I tried it at .2 mm later height and didn’t have the same issues. Any ideas of what is causing this?

Why such shallow layers?

As a rule of thumb layer height half the nozzle diameter is the best starting point.  The smaller the layer the trickier the print and by one eighth *everything* has to be spot on.  My first thought is: make sure the filament is absolutely dry.

Cheerio,
