x axis has makes loud vibration noise
Brand new assembled kit. Probably has 30 hours total on it. I am getting a loud vibration on some x axis prints. Not sure exactly where to start looking.
You can hear it at the start and end of this video It just started in the last 4-5 hours of printing. Any ideas on what to look for?

I hear some interesting noises sometimes, depending on what is being printed. I think I've heard a little more noise with the input shaper profiles. I keep my printer on a cement block on top of a foam block. That definitely helps with the noise level. Are you saying that you are printing the exact same GCode that you printed previously, and it is making a much different sound? Have you checked your X-axis belt tension? And that the set screws in the pulley are tight?

same here, sometimes the speed is just right and things vibrate more than at other times.

I do have similar issues. My printer starts to rattle travelling from the x-mid and get's louder to x-max. Around x-min position no rattle at all. Currently I'm printing a large circular object expanding from near x-min to x-max. So my left print side is like a charm, the right is much noisier. Speed and change of direction does have an impact on the noise on the x-max side (but doesn't has an impact on the x-min side - not that I can hear).
I first thought it is the y-axis, so I did a complete overhaul of the y-axis (no bearings, checked the screw...) and it did not went away. That's sad.
My current theory is, that the wider the gab between the x-axis motor and the extruder is, the system is going to vibrate more or the frequencies are more in the hearable spectrum. Thinking of this, I pretty fucked, because I have no clue to solve this. This should be something with is due to the construction.
Hope I'm proofed wrong and there is a (easy) working solution out there. I'm always willing to learn.

@mander, I don't mean to hijack this thread but I watched your video and I have a question: would you please elaborate some more and explain what kind of filament feeder attachment you have? Is this a kit? What is the purpose of the modified feeder? Does this depend on a different type of filament alignment mounted on the spool holder?
Sorry for so many questions but would appreciate any info about this, please...

It is the standard tube that comes with the Prusa Original Enclosure to use the inside mounted spool feeder.

I've got the same noise coming from my nextruder, I pretty much narrowed it down to the loveboard cover. Haven't been able to take a better look at the source of the noise since I expect it to be something that is annoying and not something very wrong with the movement system. Some resonances at a lower speed seem to be the issue.

To get back to this, I figured out what was resonating. In my case the fanshroud for the part cooling fan wasn't tightened down properly which lead to it resonating with the fandoor. I also tightened the screw of the fandoor a bit more and now it is fixed.

I had a similar sound. In my case, tightening the fan door helped.
