Warped bed?
Hello. I recently built a Prusa MK4, and have had a really good time with it, however Petg warps quite a bit.
I've read a bit on how to deal with it, but before calibrating more I was hoping if someone could tell me if this gap in my bed is normal or out of spec. Thanks!

If it is, it looks subtle and the MK4 should be able to compensate.

Do you have a feeler gauge so you can quantify the gap? Is it only in that one spot, and only in the X direction?
I'll assume you have checked how flat your ruler is and that it is much flatter than what you are trying to measure.

The alignment of the x-axis matters as well. During z-calibration its is determined by bumping into the upper ends. If you drive the z-axis down near the bed and then move the extruder left and right by hand. Does the distance between nozzle and bed look similar to what you observe between the ruler and bed?

I tried your test, and the bed seems pretty level. After cleaning the PEI sheet a few times with soap and water my PETG prints have been warping a lot less, so it appears this issue is solved. Thanks everyone. 🙂
