Wifi - Dash in SSID

After a marathon weekend of upgrading my MK3s to MK4 I had just one issue with setup... wifi wouldn't connect.  After a bit of research, I found a documentation page that says certain special characters, including -, are not supported.

The SSID for my home wifi happens to include a - and I don't feel particularly inclined to reconfigure the wifi on I'm not even sure how many devices just so my printer can connect... Is there a workaround to this weird limitation / Does it seem likely the firmware will be updated to remove it.  I've been rather looking forward to not having to run between rooms to set up prints

Same wifi SSID issue with my MK4 (kit) except the SSID I need to use includes an underscore (_) .

Same here! Just finished putting it together and finally realized the failed wifi setup is due to our SSID. It has an underscore in the name. Seems like a strange limitation for commonly used characters in network names.

I likely have a similar problem with some underscores in WiFi SSD name.

(Everything else has gone really smoothly so far...  I cannot really complain much other than finding a US-power cord in the box (for Finland, EU)...  Luckily there was a spare ones around.    Just unpacked, test calibrated a pre-assembled MK4 and printed out a spatula from usb-drive test part files. Time from printer out from a delivery box to a first quality part took me a like 45mins - 20mins was spent on printing.     I feel I spend more time putting up HP paper printer last week...
