Torque screwdriver for nozzle tightening
I know most people just wing it when tightening nozzles especially with the TC nozzles and the V6 nozzle adapter but . . . for the people that actually use a torque wrench to accurately measure this, what kind did you use? Will an inexpensive one like this be ok or do I need to spend the big bucks?
Or are there any beam type or click type 1/4" drive versions that will work down to such low values accurately? The torques spec for a Prusa standard nozzle is 1.5 Nm but is that the same spec for a TC nozzle on a V6 adapter?? The 1.5Nm setting is only 13.3 inch pounds so I am worried a cheap wrench won't even be accurate.
Thanks
edit: Just found this one that has possibilities:

I use a Norbar 1-5Nm torque wrench, not cheap mind you.

Only problem is if you need more that 1.5Nm this won't help any. I am mainly referring to TC nozzles and V6 adapter leakage.

Oh yeah, I also have some plated copper heat blocks coming in case that matters on the torque spec. 🙂
RE:
Just a followup. I decided to buy a beam type torque wrench as it is simple and even if it does a little out of calibration, it would be shown on the dial and you could easily add or subtract the offset. I chose the one below although there are many different ones available to choose from, but this one goes from 0 - 9 NM so I can cover all the possible torque values I may need. I know you can 3D print a slipper type torque wrench but you need something to verify the accuracy. And the "T" type one setting clicker torque wrench options would cost more if you have to buy 2 or3 different ones and you still need to be able to check the calibration on them. Of course I will need to use a mirror to read it but I will mark the bottom side so I can see the values without a mirror. 🙂
