Replacement Nextruder Motor and Planetary Gear

Hi Friends!

I am trying to find anywhere that sells the Nextruder motors and planetary gear so I can build my self a spare or two and use them for projects I am working on. Prusa doesn't sell the nextruder motor or gears from what I can see and I haven't been able to find them solely used anywhere. Reached out to Prusa support and seems they don't sell the parts alone. Trying to see if someone else might have some leads on where I could find them or where to get a clone of the gear and motor.

Thanks!

RE: Replacement Nextruder Motor and Planetary Gear

typically, Prusa do not sell components like the Nextruder motor and gearbox, whilst they are still trying to clear backlogs in orders.

It is likely that these components will become mainstream as time progresses.

the Nextruder is based in an epicyclic gearbox,

Stepper motor manufacturers can supply motors with epicyclic gearboxes... if that helps you,
Alternatively other suppliers sell extruders with gear boxes, which may help you whilst you wait for Prusa to come available

Thanks for reaching out!

So far I haven't found a similar analog to the gearbox but found a pretty close motor from Printedsolid.com that looks promising. Might have to do a hybrid that will fit in the mk4 nextruder, some micro Swiss concepts maybe with a larger gear attachment  or try to build a gearbox from random parts I find online to be really close to mk4 gear box

I appreciate the guildance and ideas! I'll keep looking too, to find a epicyclic gearbox that's close. I'd rather not try to make it or do a hybrid setup.
