Print Quality in some sections of the print bed

Good Morning Community!

I have a quick question regarding a problem that arises when I print multiple identical parts. In some (let's say 2/10) parts of the job I'm repeatedly getting quality problems so that I can't use the results.

It seems like the nozzle dives into the last layer which also gives a slight sound when the extruder is at the problematic parts. The surface of the layer is subsequently rough and as a result worsens over the next layer until it somehow stops and goes back to normal at some point after 50 layers or so.

Parameters:

Printer MK4 (factory assembled) with enclosure
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Material: ASA (fresh/dry)
Input Shaper file

In this picture you can see the problem in the top left 2 parts, to some extent also in the top 3 left.

Any help pointing me to the right solution for those symptoms is highly appreciated!
Thanks!

Anyone who has a speculation where the problem could be coming from?

Happy to run some tests to confirm a theory

Ok, just to follow up on this - I found out by myself.

The reason was insufficient cooling. The remedy that worked was to force the cooling fan on all the time (which I thought was a No-No for ASA, but apparently it worked)
