Mk4 + Tukkari + Asa
First of all, sorry for my bad English 🙁
Now to my question, which I hope someone can help me with. I have a tukkari tlx case for my mk4, previously my mk3 was in it. All the electronics, power supply,... is there IN the case. Now I would like to start printing with ASA. Of course, higher temperatures etc. in the case. The case does have air inlet openings for the power supply and a controllable 120 mm fan on the back. But I'm unsure whether I should take the power supply out or if I should can leave it in the housing. what do you think?
I would be very happy if someone could help me.
Best regards
Thomas
RE: Mk4 + Tukkari + Asa
It is easy enough to move it outside so I would just do it. Just make sure you put a brace on to replace the rigidity that the PSU provided, something like this: https://www.printables.com/model/562076-prusa-mk4-psu-replacement
RE: Mk4 + Tukkari + Asa
sorry for my late answer, had a lot to do 🙁
yes I think you're right, I looked at it again and I think I'll take the power supply out of the case. Thank you again for your answer and also for the link 🙂
RE: Mk4 + Tukkari + Asa
There are a few on Printables, that was just the first one I found. It's probably worth have a look through the Prusa enclosure build instructions, in particular the bit about preparing the printer for installation. You can probably move the control panel out as well.
