filament sensor values and calibration

Just upgraded to MK3.9 and other than filament sensor, self test is OK. It seems like filament sensor does not detect anything, and when I look at the values, with no filament it is like 1'030'000, and when I insert filament 1'040'000. I read a few posts, it should be a very low value for no filament. Is that the expected behavior ? Very low <100K values for no filament and >1M values for filament inserted ? Regarding to my case, what can be the problem then ?

RE: filament sensor values and calibration

I realized I put the part with spring, magnet, ball reverse. Then, I think the hall sensor was either too far or too close to the magnet and always showing ~1M. I fixed that, and now I see <~500K without filament, and >~1.5M with filament.
