Filament Sensor not working correctly

Hello, I've printed almost 800 hours with my Prusa Mk4 3D printer. Today, I encountered an issue where the filament sensor didn't detect that the filament had run out. I pressed the stop button and removed the remaining filament from the extruder with a pair of tweezers. Afterward, I had difficulty calibrating the filament sensor because it rarely recognized the filament. I've performed a hard reset to try and fix the issue, but it's not working. Sometimes, the filament sensor doesn't detect the filament. When I disable the filament sensor, the printer works without any problems. This problem only started today, some time after updating to version 5.0.1. Currently, it rarely detects the filament and claims there is filament in the extruder even though it's empty and I've performed a cold pull. I also have a picture where you can see something red lighting up on the extruder. Could it be that the sensor has come loose? Is it possible to downgrade to version 5.0.0?

First clean the whole filament sensor, it can be fooled by a fragment of stringing or jammed by dust.

Come back if this doesn't help.

Cheerio,

Where is the filament sensor located? How do I access the filament sensor? What do I need to remove or adjust to clean it?
