Being too cold to print should not be a *crash*

My printer is in a shed which can get cold, as it turns out it can get too cold to print. That's fine, that's my fault - the problem is that if I try to initiate a print over the network when it's too cold the printer crashes into an error state and just sits there beeping, which means it's inaccessible over the network AND will sit there beeping forever until I physically reset it.

This feels a bit dramatic, not to mention slightly user-unfriendly as it means I have to physically go to the printer rather than just cancel the job or wait for things to warm up & try again.

Also when the temperature drops quite low the printer runs the fan all the time for some reason? The display shows the correct temperature (or close enough) but the fan runs full speed.
