XBuddy Board assembly issue

Hey i have a XBuddy Board assembly issue.

I couldn't mount a screw correctly on the housing and the thread broke. While I had to pull out the screw with the pliers (after 2 hours...) I scratched the xBuddy a bit... the housing is damaged too. I was very disappointed about it. Now I dont know yet if i broked it 🙁 but now the screw is out... I'm going to finish my assembly and need to test if everything is ok... I don't know which function is broke now. (The number of the broken part is c186, as you can see on the picture)

I will be getting from Prusa a new housing and I still have to test the xbuddy board first.

Does someone can help me and already know if its a big damage or not?

Thanks for the support

This red light comes on at the beginning when i switch the machine on. Is it due to this resistor that has fallen out? The heating tests are successfully.

Who can help me?

C186 is a capacitor and looks to be part of the mmu circuitry but it probably isn't a good thing to be missing. Here is a link to the schematics, bring up the buddy pdf an search for C186.

Actually, looking here https://help.prusa3d.com/article/xbuddy-status-leds-mk4-mk3-9_532438 at the leds it's either a current fault or a heater fault (I can't tell from the photo).

RE: XBuddy Board assembly issue

Thank you so much for your help:)

So now I have 2 problems? The first problem with the MMU circuitry, the circuit without a compensator and the second problem a heater error? Heating tests are still working successfully… idk whats the issue here.

In the pdf’s i found the circuit of the missing compensator… so what is the effect of this missing part? I dont really understand these things. Can you explain me?

here a screenshot

here a we-transfer link of the screenshot for better quality: https://we.tl/t-RmsLI3J1ky

thank you for helping me

Have you tried prusa support live chat and told theme about the red light and you think the board is faulty, if from a photo of the whole board you dont see damage prusa support will send a new one under warrenty

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

yes i have already contacted them they will reply to me. If this red light is a big problem because of the missing compensator then i need to get a replacement of the board.
