Q: Does the MK4 have a touchscreen?
A: HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM…
RE:
According to pictures I believe that LCD and printer board are similar to Prusa Mini components (no touch screen).

RE: Touchscreen?!?
My interpretation is: the touchscreen hardware is there but in its current form the firmware relies on a press-to-confirm encoder like the Mini one (and MK3 for that matter) does. My guess is you wouldn't tease people with such an ambiguous answer if it was a simple "no".
RE: Touchscreen?!?
It seems that touch screen is included in HW, but not implemented yet in SW, so I guess it is only about time, when the right SW update will come 🙂
RE: Touchscreen?!?
Tbh, if that's true, I hope that it will be possible to disable it and continue using the clicky wheel. I hate touchscreens on machines like that, makes it too easy to accidentally press the wrong option. I don't have sausage fingers, but I still prefer to have tactile feedback and the ability to "hover" over an option without accidentally activating it, heh.

100%. The screen does not actually function but it is a capacitive LCD touchscreen.

RE: Touchscreen?!?
FYI, it certainly does have touchscreen hardware. I looked at my MK4 LCD screen. I’ve seen a few LCDs outside of cases, and this one immediately was obvious as having a panel applied above the screen, which almost always indicates a digitizer (the part of a touchscreen that detects the location of touches). There were also two ribbon cables, one of which went to the panel on top of the screen. This ribbon cable had “rxc-gg035081a-1.0” printed on it, which a quick google search shows is a 320x480 capacitive multi-touch digitizer.
