Power line switch as main printer switch
The location of the PSU switch is a awkward when using the enclosure; while I couldn't see the main switch on the schematics I assume there's no more than a typical switch on line
That said, can I use a secondary switch on the cable? I use this extension on my notebook PSU with great results

I use smart plugs to turn my printers on and off no problem

Same here, I have a combined smart switch and surge protector I use for my printer - works flawlessly
I use smart plugs to turn my printers on and off no problem
