RE: Multicolor in MK4
@k7zpj
Thank you for your answer. This post I just read 10 minutes prior to your post.
And yes this works for the MK4 and Canvas using there the PrusaSlicer !!!
Also no problem using it in connected mode (Canvas Hub or Octopi).
BUT with this settings for a MK4 in PrusaSlicer 2.71 and P2PP the effect is the same, as with default settings.
I have to test it with lower versions of PrusaSlicer to see what it does there.

@joantabb @k7zpj
Thank you for your advices, now PrusaSlicer works with P2PP and my MK4.
I had to downgrade to 2.60 and I overwrite the Custom Start Gcode, with the last one posted at the Mosaic Support page.
The only issue that I'm facing now is the Buffer Error:120 at the Palette 2s Pro. That has to do with the printing speed at preparing the splices.
The buffer switch is triggered while a splice is being created, If you're using a CANVAS Hub, please use the Slowdown during splice option in OctoPrint (SETTINGS > PLUGINS > PALETTE 2 > ENABLE ADVANCED OPTIONS > SAVE).
This option I have active at the Palette2 plugin for Octoprint. It was set (by default??) to 100% normal printspeed and 75% at splicing.
Now I have the printing speed set 100% and for splicing 70%.
This works flawlessly!
RE: Multicolor in MK4
Having exactly same issue.
p2pp does not appear to parse new commands within MK4 g-code such as “if” and “else”.
Using the p2pp standard configuration in-front of Mk4 g-code fails, I assume, because of this.
A number of folk appear to be successfully configuring a Mk4 profile but there is nothing on-line saying which bits work and which bits don’t.
A number of posts reference this but nobody has shared. The mosaic link is busted and it’s a bit trial and error.
Using the mk3s profile works after a fashion but it seems to make my mk4 very slow.
RE: Multicolor in MK4
Hi,
Can you help me what I need to do to get it work?
I try to print a test with canvas3d.io but after the printer has done the bed leveling and want to get printing the temperature of the hotend stops heating.
Have you information how to setup P2PP so I can use the PrusaSlicer to communicate with the Palette 3 Pro
Thanks Reinier
RE: Multicolor in MK4
i cant test as i dont have a mk4 but unchecking " supports binary g-code " in the firmware section of prusaslicer makes the error code go away in p2pp
RE: Multicolor in MK4
@tankace505) Exactly. The current Gcode files produced by PrusaSlicer are binary compressed and can't be read by the processor.
You need either to uncompress in old fashion .gcode or remove the flag Supports binary gcode on the printer tab in PrusaSlicer.
