New MK4 kit ordered. Looking at the map, first one in Idaho USA. (??)
Any other new MK4 builders/users nearby?

I know this thread's a bit dated, but MK4 user here in Boise. I've had my MK4 since May and I've put 2,082 print hours on it thus far.

Takes a lot of heavy use to wear out parts IMO, especially if just using as a hobby and not in a 24/7 running print farm scenario....
Did you get the kit or assembled?

I haven't worn out any parts that aren't typical wear parts. Surprisingly, the belts are holding tension pretty well. I've gone through a few nozzles though, which is a bummer with their per unit cost plus shipping from Prusa overseas. I've been doing some large volume prints with PolyTerra PLA and I find the matte fibers cause more wear than I had expected. I really ought to snag one of the V6 adapters or the ObXidian nozzle.

Maybe a cheaper source for nozzles, versus paying international shipping costs

I placed an order with Printed Solid a while ago and had a great experience. At the time I don't believe they had Nextruder nozzles in-stock. I'm sure the nozzles will make their way over in due time.
How's your MK4 holding up? Have you had much success with the 5.0.0 Input Shaping functionality?

MK4 kit is on order, due in a couple weeks. I was reading earlier today about IS and the various capabilities and PrusaSlicer settings...
intend to use it....stay tuned

I look forward to hearing how your kit build goes. Mine has been a great workhorse for pretty much whatever I want to print.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of success with IS yet. For applications where appearance isn't essential, it seems to work pretty well and shave off a significant chunk of time. However, if appearance is paramount I forgo IS almost entirely. I've noticed prints with IS have weird angled ring-like artifacts in the corners. Below is a photo of the same print done with IS enabled (top) and disabled (bottom) and compared side-by-side. These were both printed with the 5.0.0 stable firmware since the 5.1.0-alpha2 is causing me trouble. Hopefully future firmware will help iron out some of these kinks.
