Nothing yet. Was kind of hoping that they would get it moving before the weekend... So, ordering just after the email went out doesn't get you a printer in the first two weeks of shipments....

As I read this, I've been debating cancelling my MK4 order and using the money plus a bit more to start sourcing parts for a Voron V2. If my order doesn't move to In Process soon, I may wind up with a much larger project than I was planning on in April. The Voron idea has been brewing in my head for a few weeks. At first, I thought I'd just have an MK4 and later on, pair it with a Voron, but in the last 24 hours I'm wondering why I would do that.

Still nothing. I was hoping they would at least get some movement by today as well.... oh well

So, yep. My Mk4 kit, my XL and 3.5 to 3.9 kit will all come in the span of about two weeks?
I don’t think that my orders are odd- that Prusa is just now delivering three major kits- and the MMU3 is late- at the same time kind of shows a lack of management. THey are going to have to ramp up their production capability (people) starting like a month or two ago and then have to ramp down early next year. And lets be frank, if they introduce a whole new printer or something now, it won’t ship until late next year- too long to hold onto to all those people.
Prusa, and I mean the dude more than the company, has put himself in a position where when they get bought out, they are going to get their management team decimated. Actually, decimated is an understatement. If he wants his merry little band of maker elves and their culture to survive, he’s got to get better at this.

so it looks like according to the updated schedule my april 1st order of MK3->MK4 upgrade kit will now be the week of aug 7 and the 5 extruder XL the week of july 26

On the Mk3 to Mk4 kits, does that table mean that the kits to 3.5 and 3.9 are in that same time frames? In looking back, I see that I ordered my 3.9 kit on April 20th, which is way down the date/priority list, but I thought I had ordered the 3.9 about as early as I could?
I was told a couple of weeks ago in the chat that my 3.9 kit would ship late july, but by that table it would seem that it won't be until Sept???
See now according to this my kit it's coming until September....the hell man.

I'm honestly not sure. I knew it would be a long wait but this is beyond long. They seem to shipping the kits as fast as they could. But the upgrade kit shipping I didn't look at it.

As mentioned before, I switched from MK4 to Voron.
I received the refund in 3 days on my CC. This is fast.
Kudos for Prusa for that.
I have mixed feelings leaving Prusa... but got my Voron
today (and build it in the next several days, weeks, months ....)

I cant cancel my order now. I know as soon as I cancel it would probably have shipped the very next day!! lol
Have waited too long to pull out at the last hurdle! My 12th April order should still be shipping either this week or next according to the schedule, so I have hope!!

Read the shipping table. There has been no indication of further slipping on the dates from Prusa directly.
MK4 Upgrades
Shipping of full MK3S+ to MK4 upgrades will begin within a week of July 10th. See the shipping table below for more information.
Upgrades to MK3.5 and MK3.9 should be available by the end of July.

I see what they say for the partial upgrades, but does that mean that all of those orders are going to ship by the end of July? There’s been so many pre-orders I’m getting confused, where are the partial upgrades not available until a bit later than the full upgrades? I didn’t order my 3.9 until the 20th, and I don’t remember having waited to place the order?? It’s hard to parse out exactly what is going on, but Prusa makes it seem to make it that most of the upgrade kids are to a full MK4, and all of the partial kits will all ship in a short window. Meanwhile, the full to MK4 kits are Very drawn out in their delivery ?
Reading between the lines, does that mean that the issue is with the new stepper motors? That would explain the drawn out full upgrade delay. Along with all the other drawn out deliveries.

I doubt that all will ship. That is when they start shipping.

I think you are asking why there several delivery times for the various upgrades. I have not heard them say, but I strongly suspect that they are having to test upgrading old printers and firmware. They are going to have to make sure they the instructions are well written and the firmware works on more than on printer and for more than one builder. By far, I think the upgrade process creates the most complexity.

@cwbullet see they changed the shipping dates twice already.....if something else happens between now and end of the month they could change it again. I was excited to get my first prusa machine, but now I'm just tired of waiting. It went from new orders will be processed in June, the July, now shipping should be some time in September....Then what? I know they are working on making things better for the MK4. But the lead time on this is ridiculous. If they change the dates one more time, I'm pulling out. I'm frustrated as is, and the excitement is dead now.
I waited years for the mk3's kit to say in stock...but that's still 2 weeks lead time. Iono a product launch shouldn't take this long especial from a well known company like Prusa Research. Seems like they're using us as the alpha test subjects if you ask me.

I've been a Prusa customer for years, since the days of the Mk2. Every release or update has had the same promises that fail to materialise, lack of communication and timescales that are completely elastic.
As avi gang says "I'm frustrated as is, and the excitement is dead now."
The excitement is dead for me too now. I actually have a dual head XL on order since the day of announcement... I think that is now going to be cancelled. I've had enough.
