MK4 configuration update today
Today when opening PS I was greeted with a message that there was a configuration update for the MK4 to address purge line and oozing. Before it had a chance to register in my morning brain I clicked whatever button to apply it before reading the changelog.
a) where can I find the changelog that describes the changes?
b) how can I be sure the change is applied to all of the .3mf projects I've already created and saved?

I think that we will feel more confident that shipping has begun when the electronic manual gets posted. You can't build a kit like this without manuals and you have to request printed manuals from your order and pay alittle extra. It makes purfect sense to add the "gift" filament on the order to let the distribution employees know what to addbefore sending out. The order does say you will get some sample filament also.
I checked before posting this message and i don't see the MK4 kit Assembly Manual posted yet, so this could mean a little delay getting orders out?
If Prusa is worried that quick "COPY" kits get created and shipped out before Prusa can, then they may not wish the manuals to get posted and give a "link" to get to it to customers, until enough kits are sent out and videos of people building them are posted...just a thought

About your .3mf projects, isn't it so that you have to re-slice those? If so, the latest configuration will be applied.

You have to reslice old projects to apply the new default. It's not going to happen by itself.

Yeah I know it's not magical. I guess the question is, how can I be sure that when I re-slice that is it using the new config? I think I have to go into that tab and force it to reload default or something?
You have to reslice old projects to apply the new default. It's not going to happen by itself.

Yes. For better or worse, loading a 3mf file loads all saved settings. That's good because you may have made some tweaks to your default profiles to optimize for that print. The flip side is, that changes to those default profiles will not be applied automatically. You will have to go to the Printer drop down (which should show "modified") and reload the profile by going to the Printer Settings dialog and click on the red circular arrow.
