Filament on the workplate after automat calibrating Z axis.
Hello beautiful people.
It is my firs Prusa 3d Printer.
When calibrating before printing (I mean all those points that the print head checks before printing), is it normal for the printer to leave points from the filament?
When printing is finished, the filament also flows out of the print head, about 2-4 cm.
I should add that I am printing most of Prusament's PLA and another company's PLA Pro so far. In both cases the same thing happens.
With the standard 0.4mm nozzle this is often a sign that the filament is getting damp, a few hours in a dryer often fixes it.

Thank you for your reply. In this case, however, all 3 PLA filaments and the one PETG I tried were brand new, straight out of hermetically sealed bags.

I'm sorry to say it but new filament isn't necessarily dry enough. I keep all my filament in humidity controlled and monitored dry boxes. I recently opened two new spools of Prusament PETG, and they were at about 20% RH.
That being said, another possibility is that your hotend is too hot. When printing PETG, the nozzle is only at 170 or 175 during bed levelling. If your filament is oozing at that temperature, something is very wrong.
