M92 command

Hi !

Did anyone try, with success, to correct X/Y/Z dimensional accuracy using M92 command ?

I use it, with the start g code, to set up my mk3s+ with a very great success (imagine Borat, here).
I can achieve 0.03mm accuracy, which is amazing.

But I can't figure out how to manage it with my mk4 : at first, it messed up the homing. So I moved it further in the start g code. And it does not affect the dimension as I want, as it does on my mk3s+.
If I try to modify it with a larger scale, as 1/2 on X or Y axis, it works : my 20mm part is 10mm on X or Y. But it does not work for minor adjustments.
Did I miss something ? As Y is nearly perfect, I start to think that this printer is made for accuracy, just OOB. And the X axis belt is just not correctly tighten.

But I would prefer the M92 way, which is more convenient and provides (on my MK3S+ only....) excellent results.

Thanks !

RE: M92 command

I haven't used M92 on MK4 recently.

If the command works well on MK3S+ but causes issues on MK4 with smaller adjustments, it might be a firmware problem. Consider raising the issue on GitHub under Buddy firmware issues for assistance.

Your observation on the X axis belt tension is valid. Hope you find a solution!

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

Thanks for the reply !

In fact, I finally went through the belt tension process, and it was worth it ! I let the things go as it is for now !
