RE: 3s+ to 4 upgrade kits - has anyone’s shipped yet?

I am in the same boat as you.  I have seen multiple orders ship ahead of mine.  I returned my survey within minutes of the email time.  The printer I am upgrading sits formant because it needs repairs and I want to do them at the same time.  I really love my MK4 and want to transition all of my printers to an Mk3.5 or Mk3.9-Mk4.  I just want to see this upgrade first.

Chuck, you are right - maybe. But this method is really frustrating. My order from 3/30 is stil "new". So I´m waiting for 5+half months for my upgrade, and - by the way- I´m also waiting 22 months for my XL. My last order  from Prusashop ( some spare parts - all in stock) - waiting time 13 days. One question - are they able to fulfill any order in time - I mean in usual time?

Mine is due on Friday so I hope to have the non-mmu2s printer upgrade this weekend.  I'll let you know how it goes.   I'm a little curious how they handle the case with two(or 50) people submit orders at exactly the same epoch time.   Epoch(unix) time doesn't really give you much room in that case since it's in in seconds, vs millis or even nanos.  I wonder if they ever lose orders that way or have some klunky scheme to resolve conflicts.   having done a lot of database applications in my time, I guess you could resolve with some sort of ON CONFLICT in your sql, but it seems silly to even paint(code) yourself into that particular corner in the first place....

Crossing my fingers for you guys to get your kits soon too!

Yeah, I'm going to take an inventory of the parts I already printed and see which have new versions that will require reprinting before taking anything apart lol.  Hopefully it will be few enough I can do them all in one print job.   it's kind of a pain to wheel the printer over by the window to hook up the ventilation stuff when printing ABS.

I'm excited though!

very nice.  I'm printing most of my parts in ABS so I've had to split things into more jobs so I can run the printer hooked up to ventilation by the window during the day and then I close the window at night lol

I like that enclosure!

The main problem is that there is zero information on when this is going to ship. I filled in the questionnaire within minutes when it was sent. They held hostage of my money since almost six months now and still fail to give any information on the shipping date or at least some additional information on why they did not ship it yet.

I am waiting with you.  I agree it is uncomfortable, but hostage?  You can ask for your money back at any time.  Hostages can ask for release, but they will not get it.

Hi, my orders ( 2 separate) upgrade to MK4 are also still "new". As I really want MK4  and don´t want to buy new printer, I must wait. But maybe my orders are not in the draw yet...

I just messaged support as i'm seeing orders from 4/2 being shipped, and they can't give me an ETA, which is infuriating as i would expect them to ship in order received. I'm truly disappointed, its not like my MK3s+ doesn't work, however it seems unfair or a problem on their end with the system and i don't know what else to do.

Hmm, my 1st order is from 3/30 ( black PS and 5boltHB -new printer) and second one from 4/2 (silverPS and 3boltHB - old one), but both are "new". This 2 orders are really my last ones in Prusa shop.

There are so many orders with so many dates and people have changed their orders from from version to another.  You will drive yourself crazy if you go by dates.  We have no idea how they are processing orders.  I ordered a 3.5 upgrade and 1-2 weeks later changed it to a full 4.0.
