Y to Z Axis angle not correct?

Hi,

I have bought a preassembled MK4, printed a 40mm calibration cube and I am not 100% happy with the angle between the Y and Z Axis, the angle seems to be not 90°, the error seems something between 0.3° and 0.5°:

What is happening? If the X axis isn't 90° to the Y axis, the cube will look from the side not like a rectangle but like a trapeze:

I think most people don't notice it, since it doesn't has a big impact on their prints, but I print very tall stuff that rotates, there this trapeze-issue is creating quite annoying effects.

I have had the same issue with other 3D Printer and solved it on one printer by adjusting the angle directly and on the other printer I had to add some slight counter-trapeze effect on the stl-files to compensate the angle-issue of the printer.

Is there  any way to correct this alignment? I hope I dont have to do the stl-hack for my prusa printer!

Thank you in advance!

RE: Y to Z Axis angle not correct?

Is there a layer shift at the horizontal line, about 6mm from the bottom?   the line gap looks parallel

the sides are pretty smooth, no layer shift (it just looks like that on the photo because my screen is visible through the gap exactly from the height where you think a layer shift happened)

RE:

I now sanded down the sides (and made a 60mm cube), so that the trapezoid effect is better visible:

on the one side, the angle issue is easily visible:

on the other side, its barely visible (and very difficult to make a photo of), this might come from an error in the measurement instrument, but it still shows that there the angle of the cube is not correct:

So I still don't know how to fix this, does somebody has any idea?
