The first layer is inconsistent.

This symptom appeared after the 5.0 update. If an error occurs, stop and run again and it will print normally.

At first, I was not aware of it, so a disaster occurred as shown in the picture. This happens every time and it‘s quite inconvenient.

The photo is not attached, so I'm putting it up.

RE:

I had similar issues, not as bad as this but resulting in poor bed adhesion.  I tried a few things suggested by others: lowering the Z offset by 0.25, or lowering the print speed of the first layer.  Both tweaks improved the quality of the first layer.  I ended up setting a lower first layer speed on all my prints.

But first make sure the nozzle and bed are clean when the leveling starts.  Sometimes a little bit oozes out before it starts.

RE:

I had the same issue, and can't find my original post.

I just downgraded back to 4.7.2 and the issue went away.

I'll reinstall 5.0.x whenever the next version comes out.  Pretty bummed, the Input Shaper made things really quick, but then my print failures climbed in % until the printer was unusable.
