Hi Ifti and congratulations on your videos. They were clear and concise, and I used them as my principal reference while assembling by Mk4 kit. I did keep the Prusa manual nearby, and made some reference to that as well. Your set of videos is a great reference for the Mk4/Printing community, and I would recomend them to anyone building a Mk4. I took 3 days to put it together, working in small sessions to keep my mind fresh and unrushed. She had no issues on the initial self test, and has been running faultlessly for a few days. Thankyou so much...... 👍

Although I know some new builders who have used only the videos alone, personally I feel (and I would recommend) its useful to have the written manual to hand as well, but then use the videos to actually see that step being done in addition. I know I went through YouTube looking for such build videos while I was waiting for my MK4 to arrive and only found timelapses etc, that weren't close up or detailed enough for my liking. I do notice Prusa have their own videos as well now with no commentary, even though I did tell them they were more than welcome to use mine, but each to their own - gives builders the choice!

This would include accessory installs after the main build too, such as adding and calibrating the accelerometer sensor etc.......

Have started the MK4s build.
There are several differences to note in comparison to the MK4. A few examples:
- All the 3D printed parts are immaculate. Seriously, print quality is very precise. Parts feel lighter and stronger thanks to the PC Blend now being used. Almost look injection moulded. No orange Z axis parts - these are all black. Only orange parts are the X-Axes ends.
- All bearings come pre-lubricated. No need to lubricate yourself. And they are quite well done. Had to wipe excess lubricant from the rods a fair bit!
- Filament sensor is preinstalled this time round. No different to the MK4 though - maybe Prusa didn't trust people to build it correctly after all teh filament sensor issues?! lol
- When constructing the Z-Axis, the rods are inserted at the very beginning, before mounting parts to the frame. Previously the parts were attached to the frame, z-axis motors installed, and then rods inserted after.
- The extruder gear set is different - size and gear placement is the same, but has plenty more holes all around it, making it lighter with less material being used.
I'm just at the extruder build at the moment, so few more steps left yet. Video guides will then be edited and uploaded to the MK4s section of the forum soon 😉
