Accelerometer Wiring and Mount Questions
I upgraded my MK3 to have a Bondtech BMG extruder years ago. I recently upgraded to the MK3.5. Because I don't have a standard extruder I bought the accelerometer kit to do Input Shaping calibration. I was hoping I could make the wiring semi permanent. The 3.9 and 4.0 have the connector on the xBuddy unused. So the kit comes with a jumper wire to go from the board to the wifi board. So that you can then easily plug in or unplug the accelerometer from the outside of the printer. I see that the 3.5 actually uses this port for the Print Fan. So you have the open it up, disconnect this cable, plug in the accelerometer cable, then reverse this afterwards. The Print Fan is only two wires. Is this just power and ground? And if so can I splice in these two wires into the jumper cable, so my 3.5 can be closed up and the external port by the wifi can be used?
